Learning about Robots and Much More at Lake Local
Baby boomers may remember the Robot from the 1965-1968 TV show Lost in Space -  a tall, glass-globe topped helper on board the Robinson family’s Jupiter 2 space ship, who befriended the family’s young son Will.   The Robot often warned Will of impending trouble by waving its two arm-like appendages and saying “Danger, danger, Will Robinson!” 
Lake Local Schools Online Auction of Used School Equipment Begins Dec. 11, 2018
Lots (set quantities) of gently used school equipment taken from classrooms in the former Lake Middle School, and preschool through first grade classrooms at the former Hartville and Uniontown Elementary buildings, will be available through an online auction Tuesday, Dec. 11 -18, 2018.  Conducted by KIKO Auctioneers, bidding will begin online at 1 p.m. Dec. 11. 
Visitors will Access Lake Elementary via Belle Ave. Effective Nov. 27 Weather Permitting
Effective Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2018, weather permitting, the Lake Elementary entrance on Lincoln St. will be closed and all staff, as well as visitors, will need to enter the entrance from Belle Ave. on the east side of the building.
