Farewell Hartville/Lake Elementary - Shuttle, Parking, Fleamarket, Wooden Seats, and More
Lake Local Schools, the Lake Township Historical Society, and Lake Township Schools Alumni are partnering to present a Farewell Hartville and Lake Elementary: A Celebration of Memories event Saturday, April 7, 2018 from 4-8 p.m., with special activities taking place in both buildings during this time.

Lake High School’s entry in the 2018 Goodyear STEM Career Day Rube Goldberg Competition took first place recently.   
Lake’s GenYes Presents at State Tech Conference in Columbus
Several students from Lake High School’s GenYes program, and instructor Frank Pilato, had the unique opportunity to attend and present a program at the Ohio Educational Technology Conference (OETC) in Columbus on Feb. 14, 2018.

Farewell Event for Hartville and Lake Elementary Schools is Set for April 7, 2018
Come one, come all to a “Farewell Hartville and Lake Elementary: A Celebration of Memories” event set for Saturday, April 7, 2018, from 4-8 p.m. at both school buildings to say goodbye to Hartville and Lake Elementary School prior to their scheduled demolition during the summer of 2018. 
Superintendent Announces Formation of New Safety and Security Task Force

We recognize that these are trying times for school communities.  It is important that we communicate with you regarding issues surrounding recent student deaths and school safety issues.   We want to update you on current efforts underway to address these events impacting our children, their families, and our community.

A Message from the Stark County Sheriff George T. Maier: Zero Tolerance Policy for Social Media Threats
The Stark County Sheriff’s Office is making it known to the community that there is a  zero tolerance policy for individuals who issue or repost threatening messages using social media.

Lake Primary Kindergarten Registration
Children who will be five years of age on or before August 1, 2018 are eligible for enrollment in kindergarten at Lake Local Schools.  Read on for additional details regarding upcoming Lake Kindergarten registration. 
Lake Local Institutes Visitor Policy
The Lake Local School District now has a procedure requiring all visitors and volunteers to present a photo ID to the main office staff in each building.  The photo ID will be exchanged for a Visitor’s badge and will be returned once the visit is completed.
