Lake High School is proud to announce that two seniors, Conner Delahanty and David Klopfer, have been named finalists in the 62nd Annual National Merit Scholarship Program.

Life is not always easy, but it is possible to carry on and live a productive life. The key is to overcome and never give up! These are key messages students at Lake Local Schools are learning from powerful examples offered by a fellow student and staff members, whose life stories prove that overcoming adversity can be done with a positive attitude and strength.
Lake High School Internal Collaboration Recognized by Ohio Department of Health

A great collaboration has existed between Therese Gilbert, School Nurse Coordinator of Lake Local Schools, and the Career Tech Health Technologies Prep program at Lake High School since the fall of 2011.
Lake High School Begins Moving Staff/Offices to Accommodate New Construction/Remodeling

Lake High School Principal Dan Harold sent out a detailed, page-long document via e-mail earlier this week to high school staff, students, and parents.
In it the principal shared all the various upcoming moves of high school staff and offices necessary to allow Hammond Construction and its subcontractors to begin early stages of construction/renovation of the building.

Kindergarten Registration for 2017-18 School Year Approaching

Parents of children who will be five on or before August 1, 2017, are eligible to enroll in kindergarten at Hartville and Uniontown Elementary Schools in the Lake Local School District. Parents have several options to complete registration.
Lake Local Institutes Visitor Policy
The Lake Local School District will be implementing a new procedure that will require all visitors and volunteers to present a photo ID to the main office staff in each building beginning Tuesday, Feb. 16, 2016.  The photo ID will be exchanged for a Visitor’s badge and will be returned once the visit is completed.
