~The Yearbooks Are Here: If you preordered your yearbook you may pick it up during your lunch period today. If you did not preorder your yearbook, you may purchase one tomorrow during your lunch period in the commons.

~Attention any Junior interested in being on Student Council: You may pick up an application in the main office.

~Attention baseball players who plan on playing football next school year: You are excused from max-out testing today and tomorrow. Please turn in your football camp form by Wednesday. Please see Coach Durbin if you have any questions.

~The Varsity Baseball team defeated Boardman on Saturday.

~There will be boys' basketball open-gym tonight at 7:00 PM and a parent meeting at 8:00 PM.

~Any senior who purchased a graduation ad in the yearbook may pick up their pictures during lunch periods in the commons.

~Attention 2012-13 Yearbook Staff: There will be a meeting after school on Wednesday May 23.

~This summer Lake High School is producing the Performing Arts Summer Spectacular. This is a musical theater camp for any student entering grades 7-12. This summer the Performing Arts Summer Camp is producing Disney's "Alice in Wonderland Jr." the musical. The camp will feature workshops in acting, singing, dance, set design, construction and much more. For more information visit lakelocal.org under the "Arts" tab or like us on Facebook.

~Attention seniors: If you were given a letter for outstanding lunch charges you must pay them before May25. Any senior who fails to do so will not receive their transcripts until the obligation is met.

~Attention seniors: Please wear a shirt or hoodie tomorrow, Friday May 18 representing the college, military choice, etc. which you will be involved with next year.

~Attention junior NHS members: There is a mandatory meeting after school on Tuesday. Please meet in the choir room immediately following school.

~There will be a brief meeting after school today for prospective kickers for the upcoming football season. Please meet in room 179.

~Attention Seniors: Please wear a shirt or hoodie representing the college, military or whatever plans you have for next year on Friday, May 18.

~Attention Spanish Club members: There is a meeting at Mi Casa today after school.

~Attention all girls interested in playing tennis next school year: There is a mandatory meeting on Wednesday, May 23 right after school in the commons.

~The varsity softball team defeated Louisville yesterday to win the district semi-final.

~Attention all freshmen who signed up to take AP History next school year: There will be a mandatory meeting on Tuesday, May 22 and Wednesday, May 23 in room 215.

~FCA will meet tomorrow for the last time this school year. Please meet at 6:45 AM in the choir room.

~Any student wishing to play football next school year must sign up for football camp by next week. Forms are in the athletic office or see Coach Durbin ASAP.

~Attention Spanish Club members: There will be a meeting at Mi Casa Restaurant on Wednesday, May 16 from 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM.

~The Ohio National Guard is hosting a college fair on Monday, May 21 from 4:00 PM to 7:30 PM at their facility in North Canton. Fifteen colleges will be present along with representatives to provide information about the FAFSA. Please see Mrs. Davidson in the guidance office for more information.

~Attention all Lake student athletes: If you participated in three or more sports this season you may be eligible for the Lake High School "Tri-Athlete Award". There is a list of students we believe have qualified for this award posted in the athletic office. Please verify and check for accuracy.

~Attention Seniors: If you are writing something for the Baccalaureate please take it to the main office by May 16.

~If you are interested in volunteering for Aultman or Mercy Hospital please see Mrs. Knoch in the attendance office.

~The yearbooks will be available for seniors on Friday, May 18 during the senior picnic. If you are a senior and did not preorder your yearbook you may purchase one during that time. The cost of the yearbook is $65.00. Underclassmen will be able to pick up their preorder yearbooks during lunch periods beginning Monday, May 21. You may purchase a yearbook on Tuesday, May 22 during lunch periods for $65.00.

~Attention Students: Students who have any detentions to serve are reminded to serve them BEFORE the last week of school. Transcripts will not be issued for any senior who has not served their detention. Any other students who still have detentions to serve after the last day of school will be required to come in during the summer to fulfill their obligations. Failure to do so will result with an in-school suspension to start the 2012-13 school year. Detentions are held each day from 6:45 AM-7:15 PM in room 406 and immediately after school in room 254.

~The varsity baseball team split a double header with Copley on Saturday.

~Congratulations to the members of the Lake High School Voice Blue and Symphonic Band on their "excellent" rating this weekend at the State Adjudicated contest.

~Volunteers are needed to work in the concession stand on May 11, 12 and 13. Proceeds will benefit Lake Girls' basketball. Please see Mrs. Knoch if you are interested.

~Congratulations to the boys' tennis team on the first ever Lake High School Boys' Tennis Federal League Championship Title. Great Job!

~Attention Seniors: Anyone who wishes to help with the baccalaureate ceremony should see one of the student council members.

~Congratulations to the students who represented Lake at the Stark County Bar Associations Moot Court Competition.

~The boys' varsity team defeated St. V last night 4 to 1.
