Find out how by attending the College Credit Parent Meeting.
The
State of Ohio requires that any student currently in grades 8-11 who
wish to enroll in a post-secondary course(s) at one of the local
colleges or a dual enrollment course(s) at the high school for the
2012-2013 school years must attend a mandatory informational meeting with a parent. This meeting will be held Wednesday, January 11, 2012 at 6:30 pm in the Lake High School Performing Arts Hall. Please enter through Door #5. Information on Advanced Placement (AP) courses offered at the high school will also be covered during this meeting.
If the student is a second year dual enrollment or post-secondary student, you do not need to attend the meeting, but you must pick up the required paperwork to re-enroll in the programs. The paperwork can be picked up in the guidance office after January 11, 2012.

If you are unable to attend the above meeting, there will be an abbreviated Dual Enrollment meeting in the LHS Media Center – Room “B” on the following dates:
January 13, 2012 @ 8:00 am
January 27, 2012 @ 8:00 am
February 2, 2012 @ 8:00 am
Please note: Students taking a dual enrollment course for the first time in 2012 are required to take the February 11, 2012 ACT. The deadline for registration is January 13, 2012. Register online @ www.act.org.
