Congratulations to the Lake Speech and Debate Team for a strong showing on Saturday at Perry. Leading the Speech side, Grace Weisel placed 16th out of 79 competitors in Program Oral Interpretation. Leading the Debate side was Jayne Yerrick who went 3-1 and placed 8th out of 82 competitors. Jayne also received her first bid to the state tournament for her outstanding performance. Wish the team good luck as they travel to Wadsworth this Saturday! Great job, team!

Congratulations go out to Nathan Moore on an outstanding finish at the State Cross-Country Meet. Nathan finished in 32nd place overall and was only 6 seconds away from an All-Ohio finish. Nathan was the fastest freshman in the state.

Congratulations to the Math Team on an awesome performance at the Stark State Math Competition. Jordan Hopkins, Aidan Stalker, and Alex Tieche scored 6th, 7th and 8th respectively in the individual competition – out of over 100 students from various schools. The team of Jordan Hopkins, Alex Tieche and Abby Yost were 3rd in the team competition out of 28 teams. Great job by all!
