Attention all those taking an AP exam this spring: Pay for your exams ONLINE this year! The cost is $97 per exam. Your AP teachers will be passing out information in your classes. The deadline for payment is on Thursday, March 2nd.   Here’s how to do it: Go to the COUNSELING page on Lake High School’s website. Then look for the TESTING link, where you’ll find AP exams listed. If you’d rather pay by cash or check, please bring that money in to Mrs. Caponi in the main office. You can see her for a registration sheet. (Make checks payable to Lake High School.) Questions? See Mrs. Pariano or Mrs. Case.

Attention Seniors: Two more scholarships, The Basug Medical Scholarship and The Bagnoli-VonGruenign Scholarship, have been posted on the Counseling Office website and your Canvas account. Be sure to check them out.

Your Lake Blue Streak Bowling teams were out-rolled by the Perry Panthers in a Federal League match at Park Centre Lanes Monday afternoon.   The Boys lost by a score of 2660-2773.   Alex Nichols had the high game of 235 along with the high series for Lake of 449. The JV Boys lost 2118-2524. The Girls team lost 2212-2483. Autumn Oshell had the high game of 199 and series of 377 for the Lady Blue Streaks. Leah Yoder pitched in with a 174 game. The JV Girls came up short in their match 1816-2004. Madi Milller had a 180 game for the JV girls.   The Bowling teams are back in action on Wednesday vs Perry, looking for revenge at Hall of Fame Lanes, in Canton. Match time is 4PM.

Make dinner a selfless act by joining us for a fundraiser to support LAKE BAND. Come to the Chipotle at 1472 N. Main Street in Canton on Tuesday, February 6th between 5:00pm and 9:00pm. Bring in the flyer, show it on your smartphone or tell the cashier you’re supporting the cause to make sure that 50% of the proceeds will be donated to Lake Band.

Do you want a chance to win a $25 Chipotle gift card? If so, help support a Lake High School Business, Podge Collage, by buying a wood heart with pictures of your loved ones on it. Sales will take place every Wednesday in the Commons through February 9th during Periods 4a and 5a. We also have order forms available in Room 400. Look for flyers around the school for more information.

One of the businesses from our Marketing Class, 330 Party Bro’s, will be hosting a volleyball tournament on February 17th. Interested students can sign up outside of the cafeteria during lunch periods from January 29th until February 16nd. There is an entry fee of $5 a person and each team must have at least 5 people on their roster. 10% of the profits will be donated to the Anxiety and Depression Association of America.
