Attention Seniors: Jostens will be in the Commons on Friday, December 8th, during the lunch periods to accept cap and gown and announcement orders. This is the last time Jostens will be here. Any orders not placed with them by next Friday will need to be placed online. Additionally, any orders placed after December 15th will incur a late fee. Every senior MUST order a cap and gown. Again, please be sure to visit the Jostens table in the Commons next Friday during the lunch periods if you haven’t already done so.
Attention all girls interested in trying out for 2018
volleyball team: There will be meeting on Wednesday, December 6th, after school in Coach Morckel’s room (Room 507 in HS). Plan for 30 minutes.
The sophomore class officers are looking for VOLUNTEERS for
a visit to the Falls Village Nursing home on Thursday, December 14, 2017 from
4-5:30 p.m. We will visit with them and help them write cards to their loved
ones. We can use all the help we can get! More information is available in the
office if you are interested!
The Speech and Debate Team had a strong showing on Saturday
at Stow. Leading the way was Jayne Yerrick who went 4-0 in Lincoln-Douglas
Debate. This put Jayne in 4th place out of 40 competitors. With this successful
outing, Jayne earned her 2nd bid to the state tournament in March.
Congratulations to Jayne and great job team! Please wish the Speech and Debate
Team luck as they travel to Tusky Valley this Saturday.
The Boys Basketball team defeated Ursuline on Friday 54-26.
Stifling defense and offensive contributions by many of the Streaks led to the
first win of the season. Jake Maranville led all scorers with 17. The team
would like to thank the Storm who came out strong in support. The Streaks play at
Green this coming Friday.
This past weekend the Blue Streak Wrestlers opened their
season by going 2-2 at the Lake Duals. They defeated Marlington and Manchester but
lost to Ashland and Tuslaw. Nathan Jordan won one match, Matt Beard and Carson
Joyce both won two matches, Ben Sponseller, Josh Futo, Cameron Stropoli, Vinnie
Corsi, Sal Corsi, Jared Sanders and Michael Mather each won three matches, and Sean-Michael
James won all four of his matches. The wrestlers will open their Federal League
season this Thursday at Home against Hoover. The JV start at 6pm with the
Varsity following at 7pm. Come out to see the grapplers pin a loss on the

The annual LifeShare blood drive will be held on Friday,
