Attention all Freshmen who have signed up to take AP US
History next year.: If you have not yet attended any of the three mandatory
meetings held last week and this week, you must attend the final AP meeting
being offered immediately after school on Friday, in Room 215. The meeting
should last approximately 45 minutes. If you have signed up for AP US History
next year, have not yet attended one of the meetings and do not attend the
Friday meeting, you will not be eligible to take AP US History next year. If
you have any questions or concerns, please contact Mr. Hooper in Room 215.
There will be a Girls Volleyball meeting after school on Thursday March 8th for all interested players. Please meet in Mr. Morckel’s room (Room 507). The meeting will end by 3:15.
SUMMER PHYSICAL EDUCATION PROGRAM The 2018 summer physical
education program registration forms are available in the Counseling Office.
The program fee is $140. The
registration deadline is May 4, 2018.

Are you artistic? Looking for a way to show off your skill
to the community, but in need of inspiration? Or are you just generally
interested in art? Community Creatives is an opportunity for Lake High School
students to display their talent while also drawing attention to the finer
details of Lake. Paint, draw, photograph, or create something to present your
craft, while also having an opportunity to win prizes. The show will be March
28th, from 6-8. Come out to support your fellow classmates and vote for your

Come out March 17th to the Green Mile for the Color Run being
sponsored by students in the Health Tech Program. Tickets will be $15 if you want a t-shirt and
$10 if you do not want a t-shirt. There

The Annual Bill’s Rock Em Races, a special needs track and field event, will be held on March 22nd, 2018 in the LHS Gymnasium. The event will run from 6 PM to 8 PM. We are in need of volunteers to be buddies, decorators, cleanup crew and to run games. If you are not comfortable with volunteering, we will also need the bleachers full of people there to cheer on the participants.
