DONATIONS PLEASE!

We are in need of a few things.  We will be doing a fraction game in math in February and we need colored mini marshmallows. If you could send some in that would be great!  Also, I thought for the 100th day (which is Feb. 3rd) if you could send in some 100-calorie snack packs.  They come in a variety of snacks and any would be great.  We will use them to do different math problems dealing with the 100th day and enjoy them when we are finished.  Just let me know if you are sending them in so that I can keep count.  Thanks so much!!!!

During the month of December the second graders will learn about Christmas customs in the following countries:  Germany, Netherlands, Sweden, Italy and Mexico.  The children will rotate to each of the second grade classrooms to learn about the traditions of these countries.  The unit will conclude with a Treat Day where the students will have the opportunity to taste treats from the places studied.  We have our passports and we’re ready to travel!
