Biomes
A biome is one of Earth's large ecosystems with its own kind of climate, soil, plants, and animals.  This year we will be learning about six biomes.  They are as follows:  The Deciduous Forest, Tundra, Tropical Rainforest, Taiga ( also know as Coniferous Forest), Grasslands, and Deserts.

Photosynthesis
Photosynthesis is the process by which plants use sunlight to make their own food.  In photosynthesis, plants take in water, carbon dioxide (CO2), and sunlight to make oxygen and glucose.
