Outside Counselors

While I am here at school to support and advocate for each student, there are certain circumstances that require a child to have a more consistent, ongoing therapeutic setting and relationship. In these situations, I would highly recommend finding someone outside of school who can spend time with your child without taking valuable time away from their academics.

Here is a list of outside counselors who may assist your child. Please call around to see which agencies and/or services are covered under your insurance.

Kaleidoscope Counseling (330) 456-9214...2677 Cleveland Ave NW, Canton

Dr Tim King (330) 966-8677

Community Services (330) 455-0374 625...Cleveland Ave NW, Canton

Relationship Center (330)833-2452...2400 Wales Ave NW #K, Massillon

Crisis Intervention & Recovery (330) 452-6000...2421 13th St NW #100, Canton

MIX IT UP at LUNCH

3G did great job of planning, organizing, and running the Mix It Up Lunch on November 22nd for the 4th graders. This nation-wide event is part of an intiative to teach tolerance and respect while providing students a way to get to know students who they might not take the time to eat lunch with otherwise. Upon entering the lunchroom, the students are given a colored ticket; after getting their lunch, they find the table with that same color flag and sit at that table.

Support Groups

The purpose of groups are to provide students with an opportunity to focus on and discuss common issues and emotional concerns. Support groups are small in number (8-10 students). The small number helps students to feel more comfortable to share their thoughts and concerns. Groups are very effective in helping students develop better communication skills and gain valuable support from peers who are dealing with similar issues.
