Ski Club
Students and chaperones go skiing and snowboarding at Boston Mills five times throughout the months of January and February. Students of all skill levels participate in this organization and improve throughout their time on the slopes.

Blue Streak Broadcast
Blue Streak Broadcast consists of fifth and sixth grade students that research current events and interesting news for Lake Elementary. Student reporters write news segments and then student tech members record the newscast. Tech members edit videos in Adobe Premiere CC and learn how to apply green screen backgrounds to segments. The finished videos are then shared with families and students of Lake Elementary. The members apply for their positions and are selected based on their applications and videos submitted. 6th Grade Math Team
The Sixth Grade Math Team is compiled of 15 math students who compete in March against other top students in Stark county. Students compete in the following categories: Team Problem Solving, Geometry and Measurement, Number Systems, Mental Computation and Data, Analysis and Probability. Tryouts will be held in December and practices will begin in January.

5th Grade Math Team
The Fifth Grade Math Team is compiled of 15 math students who compete in March against other top students in Stark county. Students compete in the following categories: mental computation, data and probability/algebra, geometry/measurement, number sense, and team problem solving. The tournament culminates in a celebration including music, dancing, and awards. Tryouts will be held in December and practices will begin in January.
