Meet..... FLOSSY, the Canine Companions for Independence Facility Dog
Motivation and support comes in many forms, including a cold nose and a warm heart.  Lake Middle High School welcomed its newest staff member Canine Companions for Independence Facility Dog, Flossy.  Flossy will assist handler and school counselor, Mrs. Katie Marko, during her work with students and staff.   She  has specific commands that allow her to interact with students and staff in a calm and appropriate way. Canton Student Loan Foundation
The Canton Student Loan Foundation provides low interest student loans to Stark County graduates who have and maintain at least a 2.00 GPA and who are pursuing post high school education or training on a full-time basis. Qualified applicants can borrow each academic year up to a total maximum loan of $12,000. Freshmen can borrow $3,000 per year, sophomores, $4,000 and juniors can receive $6,000 for a maximum of $12,000.  Seniors wishing to borrow, qualify for $6,000 for their final year.  We also have graduate school loans—ask us about them!
