Career Tech Scheduling Information for 2024-2025 School Year

SCHEDULING CHECKLIST  A list of all the things you need to do to get signed up for a CTE program for the 24-25 school year with all of the important links in one place.

The Stark Career Compact is a cooperative effort of Jackson Local, Lake Local, North Canton City (Hoover), and Plain Local (Glen Oak) School Districts. This Compact was formed to give students of these districts the opportunity to attend technical/career classes offered in four districts.

The selection process for each program is a competitive one, and requires an application from the student. Students are selected for the programs based on their application and an interview with the instructor. Mrs. Marshall, CTE Coordinator from Lake, will assist you in the application process and answer any questions that you may have about the programs.

Career Tech News for 2023-2024

Lake's Career Tech program is up and running for the new school year!  A virtual meeting was held  for Career Tech students.

Mrs. Marshall, CTE Coordinator created a Google File for all CTE students (Career Tech News 2023-2024).  It contains all of the information that was discussed that evening (which was sent to you via email), the virtual orientation meeting recordings, and a file for each Compact school with their school specific information in them.

She will continue to add to the file  and make updates to the documents as needed.

Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any issues or questions!  Also, if there are any documents that you would find helpful to include in the file, please let her know.  She will be adding some senior/college and career items and include those in a separate folder.

Lake Local CTE conforms to all federal, state, and local laws and regulations including Title IX and nondiscrimination against any individual because of race, color, creed, sex, religion, citizenship, homeless/economic status, marital status, pregnancy, handicap, other physical/genetic characteristics, age, or otherwise qualified handicapped conditions, and provides equal access to the Boy Scouts and other designated youth groups.
